Michael Beeson, owner of Stars and Stripes Landscaping, loves his country and is a firm believer in giving back to those that serve and have served this great nation. Along with providing local Veterans with recognition for their service, Michael is one of the South Carolina Ambassadors for Mission22.
Mission22 is a not for profit charity aimed at ending the ever growing problem of Veteran suicide. Everyday, over 20 Veterans take their own lives and this is something we can not accept. In an effort to make that number zero, Mission22 is funding veterans to get treatment for PTS, traumatic brain injuries and other issues they are facing when they need it the most, right now. It was more than just a coincidence that I met this customer the same week I became an Ambassador for Mission22. Her family has personally experienced the ever growing tragedy of Veteran Suicide. It was an honor to take care of her landscaping project and we would not accept payment. Her family is graciously making a donation to #mission22 instead.
